Mission of the Theseus Community and Its Website
Theseus is an open community of people who believe that human life and the world are a gift, a challenge and a secret We believe in the fragile strength of friendship which can be formed and developed from in-person as well as online encounters. We are a community of questions rather than answers. This means that we trust that we will hear good answers when we maintain within us certain fundamental questions, the most important of which are: How to be a man? How to find the traces of Transcendence in everything that exists? We believe that apart from love it is the metaphysical anxiety that constitutes the most creative power which is able to transform man and the world.

This website proves that there are people who are ever open to the search for an existential truth and meaning which are sometimes closed in clerical and parish schemata. First, I noticed the website’s clarity and graphics. Then, entering deeper I observed texts which were primarily philosophical and intellectual. I felt slightly like a stranger. But finally I encountered a person, the testimonies of Joanna Nosal. And I felt that maybe this website is also for me – a human being, a wife, a mother.

It’s a very original initiative to form a community through the Internet. In every respect – a very inspiring experience. Only together, in the spirit of mutual respect and friendship can we search for God on the Internet. So far I haven’t thought seriously that He can be really found here. Congratulations. Będę śledzić z sympatią, a przede wszystkim z ciekawością, czy inicjatywa powiedzie się w dłuższej perspektywie. Każda "wspólnota" jest trudnym zadaniem. Pytanie czym jest "to" co mogłoby między Wami trwać.
